Dr. Sathiya Eswarathasan, affectionately called Dr. Es by her patients, has been in private practice since 2005. Dr. Es moved to Connecticut in 2014 to have a slower pace of life. She was in private practice for 8 years prior to this in New York.

Having finished a highly competitive residency focused on both forefoot and rear foot reconstructive surgery as well as medicine, Dr. Es is well-trained in all aspects of foot and ankle pathology. She is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Es treats the full spectrum in foot and ankle disorders including conditions affecting skin, tendon, muscle, and bone. She is also competent in treating advanced diabetic wounds (both conservatively and surgically). She performs both office- and hospital-based surgeries.
